Kitchen Upday 7-2011

BEFORE

We decided to update our kitchen for the next couple of years:

AFTER

2011:

New light in kitchen

Stove
Fridge
Floor, painted walls and blinds (2 years ago)
Stools (Christmas present a couple of years ago from kids)
Moved Dining room around and new clock on wall.
New faucet
Some new decor.
Turned dining room table other direction.

Counter top lighting (7-28)

NOTE: New range hood will be stainless steel (arrives 7-20)
2012:
cabinet tops - Not sure how or what :).

GRANDMA'S CAMP 2011 - Day 4

Friday the 17th - LAST DAY OF GRANDMA'S CAMP:
1. Played with farm set and built a town (We played a LOT of make-believe over the last week). Brayden took the pictures of the town :) - pretty good!
2. Cleaned house - what a great helper Brayden was!
3. Went to Fat Cats and played games.
4. Traveled to Utah (stopped and ate at McDonalds)
5. Home that night - Grandma's camp is over and Brayden is happy to friends his own age and especially his family!

GRANDMA'S CAMP 2011 - Day 3

Grandma's Camp - Thursday 23rd:
1. Got up late (10:00 am) - we were tired.
2. Went and ran errands for Grandpa.
3. Went to Rexburg Sprinkler Park (played in park, sprinklers and merry-go-round)
- Went with Hayden Zediker (friend) and Adilynn Woolf (cousin).
- Adilynn HATED both! But loved when her Grandpa came home.
4. Road Bike to snowshack - I ran :).
5. Played in sprinklers.

GRANDMA'S CAMP 2011 - Day 2

Wednesday 22nd - Day 2 of Grandma's Camp:
1. McDonald's Breakfast
2. Built a Handy Mandy Boat
3. Went to Rigby Lake (Went on slide, rode on tube and built lots of castles)
4. Went to Blackfoot and picked up utility trailer.
5. McDonald's in Blackfoot for Dinner.

GRANDMA'S CAMP 2011 - Day 1

Grandma Camp officially started on June 21st at Riot Zone. We ate at Wendy's then went to Riot Zone. It was great fun until Brayden face planted it on the sidewalk.

FATHER'S DAY 2011

The family got together for Father's Day on Saturday and Sunday. Steven got a new grill so we had a lot of awesome food. But he did cook a lot - hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, chicken and even did dutch oven cobbler! Okay, it was more like Mother's day. The kids gave him a grill cleaner and a hiker stove (for trail cooking). The BEST was having the grandchildren.

Memorial Day Weekend 2011

Friday night Michelle and Kyle family arrived. Saturday we went to "Kung-Fu Panda 2". Brayden was laughing and fighting through the movie. He was more fun to watch than the movie.

Mockie (the dog) decided Brayden was her new friend and went everywhere he did.

Addyson was so cute; she says "I love you" and is such a cuddling girl.

Then we went to Mom's house on Monday to say goodbye to Lawrnel's family. We got to see Adilynn - she is such a little girl; she loves to play with dolls and "girl things"- Lucky Mitch :).

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Michael called today. He thinks he is still pretty funny and we had a good time talking and laughing! It was a great mother's day gift.
He is in Gulf Port, Mississippi right now. About a mile from the coast (beach).

These pictures are from Monroe, LA. He baptized a 76 year old man and guess what - did some more fishing :).

Mother's Day: Went to church and Tanner Perkes' farwell. Mom,Dad, Mitch, Brittany and Adilynn came over for dinner. Michael called and we talked for a while. I took an hour long bath with a good book, bath salts and foot scrub the kids gave me for mother's day.
